Announcing Our New Partnership with Endeavour: Introducing Circus AP

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Greentop and Endeavour, a Sheffield‑based organisation specialising in youth development. Together, we’re launching the UK’s first Circus Alternative Education Provision (Circus AP) for young people at KS2 and KS3 — right here in Sheffield.

This collaboration brings together two organisations rooted in the city and committed to creating opportunities for young people who need something different to thrive.

About Circus AP — Who It’s For and What Young People Gain

Circus AP is designed for young people who face barriers to accessing traditional education — whether due to social or emotional challenges, difficulties with mental health, or experiences that have left them feeling disconnected from learning. Many of these learners need a different kind of environment to rebuild confidence, form friendships and rediscover what they can do.

Our programme offers exactly that: a playful, movement‑based space where learners build essential skills like teamwork, communication and staying positive. Through the creative challenges of circus arts, they practise persistence, learn to adapt when things don’t go to plan and experience success in small, meaningful steps.

As learners grow, they develop self‑confidence, improved social skills, physical coordination, resilience, and — perhaps most importantly — a sense of belonging. These gains extend far beyond the circus space, helping young people reconnect with learning and with themselves.

By blending Endeavour’s relationship‑centred support with Greentop’s specialist circus teaching, Circus AP creates a nurturing environment where every young person can progress safely, feel valued and experience what it means to succeed.
