Greentop has many opportunities for new, emerging and experienced artists and teachers to develop themselves and their work.
Working with Lead Artists we offer a programme of professional development support including:
– Our Masterclass Programme offering a range of technical, performance-based and adapting skills
-Provide artistic support for act development working towards Scratch Nights and showcase events
-Residency Awards and commissions in partnership with Enable US, The Civic, Barnsley and Theatre Deli

Greentop can offer private lessons in a broad range of disciplines from trapeze, hoop and silks to juggling, unicycling and stilt walking and many other disciplines. We can tailor the lesson to your needs. For further information click here
Victoria Works Legacy Bursary Scheme

Chosen from an exciting mix of proposals, the Victoria Works Legacy Bursary Scheme selection panel has announced the following awardees:
Main Award
Charlie Hammond: The Filing Cabinet Show: Solo clown street show about work and our relationships with it, featuring a clown/worker who lives and works in a movable filing cabinet.
R&D award
Amelia Cavallo/ Tito Bone: to explore how creative audio description and aerial circus can interact with each other.
Community Awards
- Greentop Circus Centre: work with an emerging community circus group and a leader from the Roma Community, to establish ongoing ground based Circus at Grimesthorpe Family Centre and Greentop.
- Chris Marley: A one-day hands on circus experience for local residents underneath the ‘Little-Top’ circus tent
