Greentop is always looking for volunteers, and this is a great way to develop yourself. You can learn how to rig trapezes, do sound engineering, lighting, event organising, work with children, work in the community, running a charity, marketing, admin and more. By volunteering you are actively supporting the charity and the good work we do.
Trustee recruitment 2011:
Having secured lottery funding for a 3 year programme ‘Circus North’, a feasibility grant to begin developing a second circus training centre, and a place as an Arts Council National Portfolio organisation, we are looking for support to boost the skills of our board of trustees.
We are looking for highly skilled people to volunteer as Trustees to support the Chief Executive in taking forward the strategic development of the charity.
We are going through an exciting period of change and growth, and are looking for people who can add a range of skills and experience to our board.
The role will involve attending 4 meetings per year, with opportunities to get involved in other activities according to your own interests and availability.
In particular this year we are seeking new trustees with expertise in the following areas:
- Senior management at strategic or CEO level
- Significant experience in Circus or Performing Arts
- Buildings and development experience
Full details and an application form can be downloaded below
Completed application forms should be returned to craig@greentop.org by 25th August, 12 noon
