What to Wear and Bring

To help you be prepared to get the most out of your class or workshop, check out these guidelines:

Food and drink:

There are tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, toaster, and microwave at Greentop’s Community Circus Centre, which can be used in return for a donation. For day-long sessions, please bring a light snack or packed lunch, or there is a sandwich shop and petrol station forecourt within walking distance

Footwear:

Most Aerial/ Trapeze and Acrobatic classes will be taken in bare feet. For trapeze and aerial you may wish to bring some ankle protectors- these are not essential but particularly for beginners can help guard against rope friction and bruising. For Chinese Pole, your footwear needs to be flat soled and ‘grippy’- rubber soled pumps are ideal.

For all activities requiring footwear, please bring clean indoor footwear as outdoor shoes bring in dirt which makes the centre unpleasant for other users- especially those working in bare feet!

Clothing for Aerial, Chinese Pole, Acrobatics, Acrobalance:

The kind of clothing suitable for the gym, that you can stretch and move in.clothing that covers the arms and legs.Avoid baggy clothing, and anything with belts, buckles or straps. No rings or other jewellery

Equipment:

For Juggling workshops and masterclasses, you may like to bring your own balls/clubs/ other kit that you want to work with. For juggling skillshare sessions and beginner level classes, Greentop has huge amounts of kit available

Aerial kit- aerial classes are taught on Greentop’s aerial equipment. If you would like to request specific equipment to be rigged, please note the minimum notice required is one month.
