 Greentop can provide circus skills workshops for all age groups, and have previously worked with schools, Scout and Guide troupes, Youth Clubs, Community Groups and other outreach services. You can either bring your group to our Community Circus Centre in Sheffield, or hire our specialist circus tutors who will come to your own venue.

Circus skills improve confidence and social skills, encourage creativity, and are great exercise. They encourage the development of team working,  balance, co-ordination and fine motor skills and most importantly are a lot of FUN!

We are able to offer a wide range of circus skills workshops, which include juggling, diabolo, uicycle, flower sticks, stilts, pedal gos, clowning, performance, acrobatics and acrobalance! The workshops are a great way to introduce traditional circus and theatre to children, and can be tailored to suit varied curriculum areas. They are also an excellent form of alternative exercise which is suitable for children and young people of all ages and abilities.

 Learn the skills of the circus in a fun and supportive workshop. This could be a one-off treat, a chance to earn a circus scouting badge or the culmination of a term long project on the circus – we are able to provide the perfect workshop for you!

 Our experienced performers are can add a bit of circus magic to your event! Whether you want stilt walkers to greet your guests or an exciting circus performance we have the act to suit you!

 Half-term and School Holiday activities

 Looking for an exciting and stimulating holiday activity? Whether you are looking for a day long ‘fun day’ or a week long circus master-class we have the activity for you.

 Extended school activities e.g. breakfast clubs and after school programmes

 We can offer a regular session over a number of weeks or a term where children are able to develop their circus skills. We have a certificate programme allowing children to work towards a level of skill and to record their achievements.

Performance based workshops using circus to explore curriculum areas such as maths, science, PE or Drama.

Circus skills can be used to enhance lessons in a variety of subjects, and act as a great way to get people talking. We could use juggling techniques to teach children about repeating patterns, tight wire to demonstrate the effects of gravity, or clowning as a part of theatre and drama studies!
