We are proud to announce that Greentop is now a validated learning destination with the Children’s University!
Children’s
University is a great way for kids to be rewarded for the activities they take
part in. For every hour each child attends an extra curricular activity (be
that through school, clubs or Youth Circus!) they receive a CU Credit, which is
logged in their ‘Passport to Learning’. For each landmark number of hours they will
receive a certificate:
Bronze – 30 hours
Silver – 65 hours
Gold – 100 hours
And go right up to the Children’s University Fellowship Gold for 1000 hours!
This is a great way to reward your kids for taking part in the activities they love. It’s a great way to recognise kid’s non-academic achievements, and looks great on a CV when applying for jobs and colleges in the future.
During February the CU are offering FREE ‘Passports to Learning’ which are available for all Youth Circus and Youth Aerial members. To collect your passport, come along to any of our Youth Circus or Youth Aerial sessions and speak to Trudi or Angela.
If you have any questions about how to collect your passport or would like further details about the CU scheme please email Lauren at Lauren@greentop.org or call 0114 2448828.
