"Its great fun, you will meet new friends and you get to do cool circus stuff."- Youth Circus member
"Youth circus has had an amazing affect on Lucie- attending has really boosted her self confidence and esteem, she can't wait to get to Greentop! She loves to learn new skills without constraints and the freedom to make choices when performing, the leaders always go that extra mile to ensure the kids get the most out of their time there (and are lovely!!!!).’’ - Parent
The Youth Circus aims to provide circus and performance skills to children from all backgrounds. Sessions are taught by expert circus performers in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment and children from the local areas are particularly encouraged to attend this popular and fun activity. The sessions are very inclusive and parents and carers of children with disabilities and learning difficulties always find the sessions to be very beneficial.
Members are supported to build up their circus skills using our own in-house certificate system, and each term finishes in an 'end of term show' for friends and family where the group can show off their new skills while parents and carers are encouraged to help with a cake sale and refreshments to raise essential funds.
*We also offer a bursary scheme to reduce or waive the fees, because we don't want the fees to be a barrier which stops people coming. We also accept vouchers issued under the ‘Count Me In’ scheme. If you would like to apply for the bursary scheme, please contact us.
These sessions are subsidised through Children in Need.
