Youth Aerial and Trapeze

Saturday mornings from 16th January 2010, 9.30am - 11am

£6 or £5 (members of Sheffield Youth Circus)

Taught by experienced circus tutors in a safe and friendly environment

For children and young people who want to specialise in aerial skills. Starting with the static trapeze, they will learn:

  • How to warm-up safely
  • How to climb ropes
  • Transfering to the trapeze bar
  • Various moves from sitting, standing, under the bar and using the ropes
  • Linking moves and techniques together
  • Choreography and presentation
  • Other aerial equipment such as silks, hoop, corde lisse
