ASDA Joins The Circus

Greentop recently hosted a group from ASDA head office to its circus centre in Sheffield for a day of team building activities. The group of nearly 40 colleagues worked hard in the morning, taking the opportunity to be out of their normal office environment to knuckle down for some valuable business planning and development.

The morning’s work finished with a high quality buffet lunch supplied by local caterers, Master Chef. ASDA know their food, they sell quite a lot of it after all and they told us that “the buffet lunch was delicious”.

In the afternoon the group from ASDA were then put through their paces by a team of Greentop’s circus tutors who got them to try juggling, tightwire, diabolo, balancing and even trapeze!

Greentop’s circus activities are designed to improve communication, boost confidence and improve team working, all this in a fun and engaging workshop environment that is as far removed from a class room as you can get.

ASDA Technical Coordinator Barbara Rhodes said:  “Thank you very much for facilitating everything. It will be legendary in terms of Asda Awaydays. Everyone came into work smiling this morning - Result!”

Greentop worked closely with Barbara and Vicky form ASDA to design this team building event around their needs.
